X-Files Star Added To Geek’d Con Shreveport Lineup

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.

The guest lineup will include horror movie icon Tony Todd, Scrubs star John C. McGinley, the voice of Master Chief Steve Downes, award winning actor Billy Zane, the voice of Mickey Mouse Bret Iwan, and many more incredibly talented celebrities.

This year's Geek'd Con lineup already included Mitch Pileggi, who played FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner. Now another X-Files star will be joining the fun, as actress Annabeth Gish has been added to the 2024 lineup.

She was the lead in The X-Files as Special Agent Monica Reyes after David Duchovny announced his intention to leave the show. Gish would star  of X-Files episodes. Even earning her a nomination for a Saturn Award.

But you might not know her best for the X-Files, but instead for a legendary "coming of age" film titled Mystic Pizza. Where Annabeth was the main role alongside co-stars Julie Roberts and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Maybe you just met Annabeth through her roles in Mayfair Witches, Succession, or Barry.

Perhaps you know her from her revered work in the Mike Flanagan universe. Where she has appeared in The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher.

She's also recognized for her work in Pretty Little Liars, The West Wing, Sons of Anarchy, SLC Punk, Nixon, Parks and Recreation, Once Upon a Time, Wyatt Earp, The Bridge, Halt and Catch Fire, Brotherhood, Shag, and the superhero movie Steel.

Annabeth Gish will be joining a huge list of guests in Shreveport this year, and you can be a part of the show too. Tickets are on-sale now.

Having all of these stars at Geek'd Con gives you the ability to get autographs in person, and also your chance to get pictures with those celebrities. Most celebrities are all about taking selfies at their booths, but they also give you the chance to have a professional photo taken too. Though some of the guests do not do pictures at their tables, and only do Pro Photo Ops.
