WWE Live was in Alexandria last night for a stop on the Road to Wrestlemania. It was their last live stop before tonight's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event. Usually these types of live shows don't make national news in the pro wrestling world, but last night's events in Alexandria are getting attention from coast to coast.

Charlotte Flair was in the ring with Asuka when Becky Lynch stormed the ring. Becky Lynch is the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble winner, who should be in line to face Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania. But with some recent events on WWE's weekly programming, Lynch has lost her Wrestlemania match against Rousey to Charlotte Flair. So last night, Lynch came after Flair.

After the initial attack, Flair aimed for Lynch's 'injured' knee, taking Lynch off her feet. Flair then proceeded to beat Lynch with foreign objects, including chairs, metal barricades, and kendo sticks. The attack is said to have 're-injured' Lynch's knee, which is likely to be a story-line injury, more than an actually physical impairment.

The events of last night's show in Alexandria will likely be a part of tonight's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view events, and will also be referenced on National TV next week.
