Katie Moore loved her Dad, Mike Lewis, and it's in his honor she's helping to organize a huge event that will include two of Mike's biggest passions; fishing and kids.

On Saturday, August 28, 2021, they'll hold the first ever 'Fish Like Mike' Kids' Derby and Fishing Tournament on Lake Claiborne in Homer, Louisiana.

The event will be held out of Pleasure Point Marina from 6:00 am until 1:00 PM!

Not only does Katie promise a good time for all with fishing and fellowship, the balance of the proceeds collected will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Admission is free for kids 12 and under to participate in their own fishing derby!

1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be awarded big prizes!

Kids 13 to 17 years of age will team up with one adult and this requires pre-registration and an entry fee of $50. Both team members will be given their “Fish Like Mike” t-shirts, covered by entry fee and the order form submitted with pre-registration.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will also be awarded big prizes.

There will be food and beverages for those that enter; they'll have games and other events as well.  All will have the honor of saying they “Fished Like Mike”!
