Where Will These 5 LSU Tigers End Up in the NFL Draft?
College football has ended for 2012, so we set our sights on the 2013 NFL Draft.
There's a chance that five LSU defensive players might be drafted in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. If that happens where will they end up?
1. Barkevious Mingo
He has great speed and gets to opposing quarterbacks in a hurry. He can move around the field and stand up and serve as a rush end/outside linebacker.
Mingo will be an early first-round pick and first LSU Tiger to come off the board.
Ideal Fit: Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Sam Montgomery
Montgomery is Mingo's defensive end mate. In two seasons, Montgomery has recorded 17 sacks for the Tigers, which is pretty darn impressive and an asset that several NFL teams will be looking to add.
Ideal Fit: Tampa Bay Bucs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals
3. Eric Reid
Reid is considered to be the top safety in this year's NFL Draft. He has a knack for finding the football and making big plays. He has good hands, good speed and he is big 6'2", 210-pounds, ideal for an NFL safety.
Ideal Fit: Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans
4. Kevin Minter
Minter recorded an eye-popping 130 tackles from his middle linebacker position this season, add to that four sacks and an interception. He recorded eight-or-more tackles in eight of the Tigers' final nine games this season, including 20 against Florida and 19 against Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
Ideal Fit: Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans
5. Bennie Logan
When Logan is chosen, an NFL team is will get an interior lineman with good size (6'3", 290) and the ability to dominate in both the run game and pass game.
The dude has quick feet for a defensive tackle and could potentially slide around the defensive line because of his pass-rushing ability.
Ideal Fit: Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos
