Toms Tied for Lead, Halfway Home at U.S. Open
At the halfway point, Shreveport's David Toms is tied for the lead at the U.S. Open.
The former LSU Tiger shot Even par in Friday's second round, and is -1 for the tournament. Toms joins Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk atop the leaderboard.
Toms had a afternoon tee time, finishing his round at The Olympic Club in San Francisco around 8:30pm central time.
Toms bogeyed #1 and #6, but got those shots back with birdies at #11 and #13.
The 2001 PGA Champion, Toms will play in the next-to-last group in Saturday's third round.
