At the halfway point, Shreveport's David Toms is tied for the lead at the U.S. Open.

The former LSU Tiger shot Even par in Friday's second round, and is -1 for the tournament. Toms joins Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk atop the leaderboard.

Toms had a afternoon tee time, finishing his round at The Olympic Club in San Francisco around 8:30pm central time.

Toms bogeyed #1 and #6, but got those shots back with birdies at #11 and #13.

The 2001 PGA Champion, Toms will play in the next-to-last group in Saturday's third round.
