Tim Fletcher: Houston Cougars Depth Chart Is Full Of Shreveport Area Talent

The Houston Cougars are chocked full of local nuggets heading into their season opener.

Javin Webb, a sophomore out of Evangel, moved into the backup spot at running back while Calvary Cavalier alum, Brandon Wilson will start in the opener against Tennessee Tech at cornerback.

Another Evangel Eagle, Josh Thomas, was in the mix to start on the offensive line but is now questionable for the season opener. Parkway's Kameron Eloph is a true freshman on the squad as is North Webster defensive back Darius Gilbert.
