Tim Fletcher: Cowboys & Saints Both Kickoff Tonight

The Saints and Cowboys open their preseason campaigns tonight on the road. New Orleans takes on the Ravens in Baltimore while Dallas visits San Diego.

The Saints will get a game-look at their young kickers, former Arkansas Razorback Zach Hocker and Dustin Hopkins.  Hopkins has yet to miss a kick in training camp and the Times Picayune reports they each have made 59 yard field goals.   A good look at the lower end of the depth chart at wide receiver will also draw attention tonight. Kickoff in Baltimore is set for 6:30.

In San Diego, former Gilmer Buckeye and Stephen F. Austin running back, Gus Johnson will get a lot of carries as the starting running back for Dallas.  The Cowboys will also get their first look at Greg Hardy on the defensive line and former LSU Tiger, La'el Collins on the offensive line. Kickoff in San Diego is at 9:00pm.
