As a child who grew up in a fatherless home, I can't tell you how happy this YouTube account has made me.

If you've been online at all recently, chances are you've scrolled past this new and incredibly popular Youtube channel. The channel is appropriately named "Dad, how do I?". In his videos, Rob Kenney shows viewers how to do things that typically a Dad or a father figure would share like how to shave and how to fix a running toilet.

Without getting too personal, I must say this account really struck a chord with me. My father left my mom, my sister, and myself when I was two years old. From then on, all I learned in life came from my Mom, my grandparents, and my friends... When I was slowly but surely becoming a teenager and an adult, I can't tell you how much a YouTube channel like this would have meant to me. I can tell you it would have meant less Razor cuts and burns, as well as a few less awkward-looking ties at formal events.

Rob Kenney has gone viral and his story has spread like wildfire after a Tweet in his honor went viral. Since then, this guy and his YouTube channel have blasted off through the atmosphere of popularity. Courtesy of PopSugar, Rob Kenney shared his own story of how his father left their family while he was just a teenager, saying, "He got custody of us, but he didn't really want us," and, "I think he was kind of done by that time."

Since having kids of his own, Rob reflected on his own life's journey and decided to do something to help kids going through what he went through. So he created his "Dad, how do I?" YouTube channel provides, "useful, practical content to many basic tasks that everyone should know how to do." He also adds quite a bit of his classic dad-jokes in all of his videos, which only adds to the overall-awesomeness.
