This week, Anthony Davis was named to the All-NBA squad, but even with that kind of performance this year, the New Orleans Pelicans still missed the playoffs. Even after adding fellow All-Star DeMarcus Cousins before the trade deadline. So the team knew they needed to find some help.

With two of the top players in the NBA, there's not a lot you could add player-wise to improve right away. So the team instead has looked to improve their coaching staff. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"ESPN’s Marc Stein reports the Pelicans are close to hiring Denver Nuggets assistant coach Chris Finch. Finch got credit for helping Denver improve its offensive numbers last season and Pelicans management reportedly believes he can capitalize on the skills of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins."
