Avengers fever is spreading like crazy. We're just a couple weeks away from Avengers: Endgame hitting theaters, and destroying every box office record that exists. The advanced ticket sales have already set a ton of records, and took down a few sites and apps along the way.

So a couple weeks ago, we asked what our area's favorite Marvel movies from the MCU were. Now the votes are counted, and we're ready to reveal the results...

This list is big, so we're going to break it up into multiple posts. We will link them altogether though, so you can see the entire list. We're going to start now with movies #21-#17:

21. The Incredible Hulk (2008)

After all the votes were counted, only ONE movie from the MCU didn't get a single vote from the Ark-La-Tex. The 2008 Hulk movie is clearly the black sheep of the MCU, almost nothing from the movie can be felt in the current state of the MCU. Edward Norton was replaced by Mark Ruffalo, Liv Tyler has never reentered the MCU, and even though we almost saw him in a later Avengers movie, Abomination never returned. But there is one thread that ties this film into the MCU...William Hurt as General Thunderbolt Ross. He has appeared in Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, and at one point, it was considered making him into the Red Hulk (or Rulk) inside the MCU.

20. Thor: The Dark World (2013)

There are fans out there who will swear by this Thor film. The biggest complaint about the film is that its "dark", which is weird that people would complain, since it's actually in the name. But this is a very important movie, because it gives us the Reality Stone.

19. Iron Man 2 (2010)

This was set up to be a great movie, with a HUGE cast (now look, they're all jam packed casts now, but back in 2010, not every Marvel movie was). But the story was flimsy, felt rushed at times, because other points it felt like nothing was happening. It's still a very watchable movie, but it's not one of the MCU's best.

18. Ant-Man and The Wasp (2018)

The Ant-Man films are odd in the MCU, because they're so separate from everything else. Ant-Man's movies feel like nothing more than the slap-stick humor, with little consequence. The Guardians movies have a ton of humor in them, but the story being told feels like its so much more important than anything Ant-Man's movies bring.

17. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

The hardest part of having the Avengers title on a movie is that you have to live up to the first. Following a legend is never easy. But that's what Age of Ultron had to try and do. It had great moments, but it's understandable why people don't remember it as well as the other MCU movies.
