If jersey sales are any indication of what's to pass in the upcoming NFL season... Peyton Manning will once again be the top QB in the game.  His new Denver Bronco #18 jersey is the top selling jersey.  He has replaced Tim Tebow as the Bronco QB as well as the NFL's top jersey seller.

Tebowmania is getting ready to hit New York now that Tim Tebow has been traded to the Jets.   No sooner does Peyton Manning drop down in Denver  after inking a $96 million deal, than Tebow is out of the Bronco uniform in favor of Green and White.

Free agent quarterback Peyton Manning will reportedly sign with the Denver Broncos. Representatives of Manning and the team are finalizing the structure of a contract reported to worth $90 million over five years.

While free agent Peyton Manning paid Denver, Colorado visit over the weekend and  met with the owner and coaches of the Broncos, he hasn't inked a deal yet.  In fact, Tim Tebow is still quarterback of the Broncos.

Peyton Manning's departure from Indianapolis leaves him open to play for a number of other NFL teams.  I'm thinking he'll want to stay in the AFC to avoid playing his little brother's New York Giants team as much as possible.

Peyton Manning and Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay held a press conference Wednesday in which Irsay announced that the Colts were cutting Manning, the greatest sports figure Indianapolis has ever seen, rather than pay him a $28 million roster bonus.
