We've all said about as much as we can about Saturday night's Paul McCartney show in Bossier City. We even heard from his Shreveport/Bossier-based driver from this weekend. The show was amazing, and a total once-in-a-lifetime experience (no matter how many times he said he was coming back, I don't see it happening)...

For the lucky thousands who got to see Paul McCartney perform at the CenturyLink Center, Sir Paul did not disappoint. The show started a few minutes late (at about 8:15), but the former Beatle played for a solid 3 hours! He did many of the classic Beatles tunes including: Can’t Buy Me Love, Love Me Do, Blackbird, Eleanor Rigby, And I Love Her, and many more...

This weekend is a milestone for the Shreveport/Bossier area. Sir Paul McCartney is coming to town for a once-in-a-lifetime show. Sure, Elvis has played Shreveport. Robert Plant has come to town. But this is Paul McCartney...arguably the greatest living musician on the planet...

Such was the case with Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, who  —  in a nod to Johnny Depp’s appropriation of elements of his persona  — appeared in two films as the father of Jack Sparrow. And now the franchise has pulled in another iconic musician, with Beatles legend Paul McCartney sharing his slightly foppish character.

Filming on 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' has already wrapped, but word is that the filmmakers reconvened to shoot a scene starring Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were married on Sunday, looking happy after a 45-minute civil marriage ceremony. They were showered with confetti from fans.   McCartney raised his bride's arm in triumph and they blew kisses to several hundred fans and paparazzi standing on the steps of the Old Marylebone Town Hall for the big wedding.
