Barksdale Air Force Base Cancels Sunday’s Air Show
Barksdale Air Force Base has cancelled Sunday's Barksdale Air Show event due to expected severe weather.
Staff Sgt. Jason McCasland of the 2nd Bomb Wing's Public Affairs office issued a brief message on the official Barksdale Air Force Base website Saturday afternoon.
"Sunday's Defenders of Liberty Airshow is cancelled due to expected inclement weather," he said.
The cancellation comes just hours after the first day of the two-day event wrapped up in Bossier City.
