Mississippi State center Dillon Day has been suspended one game by the SEC after stomping on two LSU players in Saturday’s Mississippi State win over the Tigers.

Day had publicly denied purposely stomping on LSU defensive tackle Davon Godchaux and cornerback Rashard Robinson in a tweet.

LSU filed a complaint with the league office and after reviewing game tape, the SEC determined that Day was guilty of "multiple flagrant and unsportsmanlike acts."

Day is a senior from West Monroe, he will miss State’s next game October 4th against Texas A&M.
