New Orleans Saints All-Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas accepted the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award on Saturday night.

Working through his nerves at the podium, Thomas settled in, thanking many for the honor, then spoke on the importance of instilling hard work and discipline at a young age.

When giving advice to a younger generation, Thomas referenced the late Kobe Bryant, citing the Mamba Mentality Kobe made famous.
