Saints Ruin Buccaneers with 41 Point Shut-Out: Bucs Eliminated [PHOTOS]

The New Orleans Saints have something to prove. Amid a Bounty-Gate stained 6-8 season, the Saints said to the NFL on Sunday, "Hey, don't forget about us... cuz we'll spoil your season." New Orleans eliminated Tampa Bay from playoff contention on Sunday with a 41-0 blowout at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.  Check out all the photos.

Drew Brees had four touchdown passes, Mark Ingram had his best game as a Saint with 90 yards rushing and a touchdown, Jabari Greer had two interceptions and the much maligned Saints defense, that was giving up points and yards at an NFL record pace early in the season, recorded their first shut-out since 1995.

There is of course, a wild scenario for the Saints to make the playoffs... and devoted Who-Dats are clinging to the last shreds of hope for a Saint's post-season.  But the likely prize left for the Saints is to play spoiler.  The Black and Gold eliminated Tampa Bay from the playoff hunt in week 15 and in week 16, they could do the same to the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys and Saints play Sunday (12/23) in Dallas.  Dallas controls their own destiny for an NFC East title, they will need wins against the Saints and Redskins in the final two weeks to clinch their division.
