The NFL has their first coronavirus case, and its not a player. New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton has been diagnosed with the disease.

The NBA was the first major US sports league to have the illness enter their ranks. Earlier this month the NBA season stopped instantly when Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive, after mocking the disease during a press conference. He then spread the disease to a teammate, and possibly a young fan.

Having a member of the New Orleans Saints organization test positive is in line with what's happening in the City of New Orleans, and State of Louisiana. New Orleans is one of the "hot spots" for the virus in the United States, which has led the state to become a leader for positive tests in the United States.

Governor John Bel Edwards has made multiple moves to close schools, bars, gyms, movie theaters, and has reduced gatherings to 50 people or less, all in an effort to slow the virus outbreak.
