Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs teammates Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce announced on Twitter that they would both be donating thousands of meals to Harvesters.org to help their local Kansas City community while the country shuts down amid coronavirus concerns.

Now, the quarterback has stepped up to donate 15,000 meals to the Harvesters organization, and his foundation 15 and the Mahomies are donating $100,000 to various organizations located in the Kansas City area that are being affected by the crisis.

The $100,000 will go toward Kansas City Public School Lunch programs and local organizations that provide meals and household goods to families in need.
