NFLPA Files Grievance Against New Orleans Saints for Jimmy Graham

The NFL Players Association filed a grievance Wednesday against the New Orleans Saints on the behalf of Jimmy Graham.

The NFLPA hopes to have Graham classified as a wide receiver instead of a tight end after he was assigned the franchise tag by the Saints.

The difference in salary for a franchise tagged side receiver over a tight end is roughly $5 Million!

This move by the NFLPA was expected.  There aren't many who think an arbitrator will rule in favor of Jimmy Graham in this case.

The move by the NFLPA against the Saints was expected.  Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis says that the team still hopes to work out a long term deal with Graham before the season starts.
