Outspoken NBA Hall of Famer, television personality and Auburn alum Charles Barkley has not been quiet on who he feels is most deserving of the open coach's seat for the Auburn Tigers following the firing of former coach Gene Chizik.

So, who does Barkley feel would be the best fit for one of the LSU Tigers' bitter rivals?

The NBA legend spoke with NBC 38's Christina Chambers about who is feels the next coach for the Auburn Tigers should be. The answer may shock you: Disgraced Arkansas Razorbacks ex-head coach Bobby Petrino.

I understand he has some baggage but he’s a hell of a coach, and we shouldn't try to play judge and jury and moral judge. He made a mistake, he admitted to his mistake, we have to hire a guy who we know can win, and that’s him. It’s unfortunate about what happened to Chizik, but it’s time for Auburn to move on.

Petrino was fired from the Hogs in April 2012 following a motorcycle accident where it was discovered his mistress, Jessica Doral, was a member of the Hogs' volleyball team. Petrino also gave Doral $20,000 after she was hired in March. She was on the motorcycle with Petrino when the accident occurred.

In the two seasons Petrino was Arkansas' head coach, he compiled a record of 21-5, including two consecutive bowl appearances.

Jessica Doral has since moved on to be with her fiancé for his position as the strength and conditioning coach at the University of South Carolina.
