Mudbugs Gear Up for Huge Hockey Weekend

Can you feel it in the air, Mudbugs fans? That's the playoffs, and they're inching closer by the day.

For any successful hockey team, playoff success is of the utmost importance. Heck, no team in the NAHL knows that quite like the Mudbugs and their organization. With well over two decades of top-notch hockey in Shreveport, only one single year has our Mudbugs not made the playoffs. If there's one thing we know, it's playoff hockey.

Playoff success is vital, and the very end of a regular season can make or break any hockey team. Sure, our Mudbugs have nothing to worry about in terms of making the NAHL playoffs. In fact, they were the first team out of the south division to clinch a playoff spot.

Still, it's absolutely critical that hockey teams get hot as the playoffs approach. You want to hit the playoffs as on fire as possible, and this weekend, the Mudbugs look to begin their hot streak.

No team in the NAHL is as blessed when it comes to a home crowd as our Shreveport Mudbugs. They'll look to rally around the electric atmosphere at George's Pond this weekend as they take on one of their fiercest rivals... The Amarillo Bulls.

The Mudbugs and the Bulls haven't always been bitter enemies, but with both teams playing good hockey this season, every time they match up its simply cant-miss action.
