LSU’s New Play-By-Play Announcer: How Does He Sound?[VIDEO]

LSU has finally decided on a replacement for longtime sports announcer Jim Hawthorne, who's retiring after 35 years at the Tiger microphone. It's Chris Blair, currently the play-by-play man at Georgia Southern University.

Blair, who's been the Eagles announcer for the past decade, will take over for Hawthorne starting with the 2016 baseball season. In the meantime, here's a sample of his football PBP style in a Georgia Southern upset of Florida in 2013.
