LSU ace pitcher Kevin Gausman, who is 11-1 with a 2.72 ERA going into this weekend's NCAA Super Regional, was the fourth player taken in Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft Monday night.

The Baltimore Orioles selected Gausman, making 2012 the fourth straight year a LSU player has been taken in the first round of the MLB draft. In all, 16 Tigers have been chosen in the draft's first round.

The draft continues Tuesday and concludes Wednesday.

This weekend, Gausman and the Tigers will continue their drive to the College World Series, when they host in Stony Brook in the Super Regional.
