When LSU gets past Ole Miss this Saturday,  they'll have one more team to beat before the bowl games and their national championship game.  But it turns out the LSU-Arkansas game on Friday,  Nov. 25th is a day game at Tiger Stadium.

Now,  while that's great the game is being played in Death Valley,  the 1:30 pm kickoff time has some LSU fans upset.   They think the No. 1 Tigers game against a tough rival,  the Razorbacks,  should be played at night during prime-time for television.

And,  I'm agreeing.

The game is being televised alright,  on CBS,  but what's up with the night games that are scheduled for TV that night?

None of the teams are nearly as good as the Southeastern Conference Teams of  LSU and Arkansas.

Just check out these games that will be televised at 6 pm Fri., Nov. 25th:

Pittsburgh at West Virginia on ESPN;  UTEP at UCF on CBSSN; California at Arizona State ESPN3;  Akron at Western Michigan TBA ESPNU; Bowling Green at Buffalo TBA ESPNU;  Eastern Michigan at Northern Illinois TBA ESPNU; Kent State at Temple TBA ESPNU, and Toledo at Ball State, TBA ESPNU.

Now,  it would be different if you had Oklahoma State,  Alabama,  Oregon, or Oklahoma playing during the prime time slot but LSU in a day game ranked No. 1 and going for the national championship against the Razorbacks before the real National Bowl  Championship Series game makes no sense.

Can someone tell me the reason for this?
