At the beginning of the 2013-14 season, many expected -- and were hoping -- that both the LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies would have BCS title shots. Now we know that The Aggies do, but the Tigers don't.

Heading into the game, here are five things that you need to know about both teams.

After LSU's collapse to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 38-17 on Saturday, the Bayou Bengals drop to No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll rankings, and No. 21 in the all-important BCS rankings.

Texas A&M, following their victory over former Haughton Buccaneer Dak Prescott and the Mississippi State Bulldogs, are at No. 10 in the Coaches Poll, and No. 11 in the BCS rankings.

Both teams have a bye this weekend after their respective games.
