LSU Players Earn SEC Honors After South Carolina Win

Two LSU players have been chosen as SEC Player of the Week following LSU's 23-21 victory over South Carolina.  The SEC announced today that Sam Montgomery and Jeremy Hill each earned the honors after their performances against the previously 3rd ranked Gamecocks.

Montgomery, the league's Defensive Lineman of the Week had two sacks and forced a fumble.

Hill earned co-Freshman of the Week honors with 124 yards rushing (118 of which came in the second half.)  Jeremy had a 50 yard TD run in the 4th quarter that proved to be the game winner.
