LSU Not Only State School Searching for Defensive Coordinator

LSU is not the only state university searching for a new defensive coordinator. Northwestern State head coach Jay Thomas is also on the hunt.

Thomas says the defensive scheme is already in place and a change at coordinator won’t change much for the defense overall. Mike Lucas left the position after last season to take a different position at ULL.

Thomas says he is completely focused on recruiting until February 4th, which is national signing day. The Demon Head Coach says he will hone in on the new defensive coordinator after signing day.
