If you've lost a backpack that just so happens to be filled with drugs, these police officers want to reunite you with your long-lost bag.

I always enjoy it when local police post literally anything humorous on Facebook. It always makes me crack a smile, so today, I wanted to give a big shout out to the Walker Police Department. This week, the police departed located in Livingston parish east of Baton Rouge, took to their Facebook page in an effort to find the owner of a Nike backpack.

The Facebook post is great to me, because they begin the announcement by simple stating they're trying to reunite the backpack with its owner. All seems relatively normal until you get to the last sentence of the first paragraph.

That sentence reads, "An inventory of the bag revealed obviously valuable contents that Police believe the owner must want to recover." I knew right then and there that this was about to get good, and I was not disappointed. The next line read, "Inside of the Nike bag, police located nearly 50 grams of a white powdery substance which field tested positive for cocaine. Also in the bag were over 120 oxycodone tablets, a digital scale and a quantity of plastic bags.

They went on to write that the bag clearly belonged to a "street pharmacist" and insisted that the owner must be anxious to retrieve the backpack.

Then, they capped off the legendary post by writing, "Reuniting property owners with their lost, missing or stolen property is just one of the services that we provide, and we are especially interested in finding the owner of this found property.”

10/10, bravo Walker Police Department. Criminals aren't generally the sharpest tools in the shed, so there's a decent chance this actually works. That would be the only way to make this story somehow even better.
