SHREVEPORT, LA-  Shreveport Police Department seeks assistance in locating a sexual assault suspect

The Shreveport Police Sex Crime Unit initiated an investigation in September 2023 into reports of sexual assaults against two juveniles. After months of diligent investigation, detectives have identified 38-year-old male, Frank Mazen Jr. as the suspect.

Detectives have issued warrants for Frank Mazen’s arrest on charges including one count of first-degree rape and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating this suspect. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty.
