Most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November.  So, this weekend we’re actually going back to “normal” or “standard” time.

Daylight Saving Time was actually the idea of Benjamin Franklin, and European countries actually started using the concept a couple years before it was adopted in the U.S. in 1918.

Be sure to set your clock BACK one hour before you go to bed this Saturday night, which is November 5, then you'll wake up on Sunday on standard time.

Remember that old adage “Spring Forward, Fall Back”.
