A number of rumors persist in the wake of LSU's 45 - 38 win over the University of Texas Saturday night in Austin. First came the perceived slight involving the Tiger Marching Band sitting in what were described as "second level nosebleed seats" of the contest. While the designated spots for the musicians could be described as in the stratosphere, a number of sources report that all visiting bands, not just ones from Baton Rouge, are treated less than royally.

And the other major rumor - one that was used to explain the heat cramps suffered by numerous LSU players - that there was no air conditioning in the Tigers locker room, turns out to be absolutely true.

Details from theadvocate.com:

"LSU football coach Ed Orgeron confirmed Monday that the Tigers did not have air conditioning in the locker room Saturday for their game against Texas.

Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte said in a written statement that Orgeron's comments were the 'first we've heard of any issues in that area" and that "we've confirmed that our air conditioning in the visiting locker room is in good working order.'"
