Bossier City’s Justin Rogers Commits to TCU
He's not just one of the top recruits in Louisiana, he's one of the top football recruits in the country. Justin Rogers is going into his senior season as the starting quarterback at Parkway High School in Bossier City as ESPN's #4 overall Dual-Threat quarterback recruit in the country.
Now he will head into his senior season as a football commit to TCU.
Last night, on Rogers' birthday, he made the announcement that he was accepting a scholarship offer to play football for the Horned Frogs. Making Rogers the third straight starting quarterback from Parkway to accept a scholarship to a major conference college, following Brandon Harris who went to LSU (he'll be at North Carolina this season) and Keondre Wudtee who accepted an offer from Oklahoma State.
Now the focus shifts to Rogers' Parkway teammate, Terrace Marshall Jr, a 5-star wide receiver recruit. Marshall Jr is ESPN's #2 overall WR recruit in the nation, and the #1 recruit in the state of Louisiana for the class of 2018. Regardless of position, ESPN ranks him as the #9 overall recruit in the country. Marshall Jr has an offer from nearly every major college program in the south, as well as programs like Oregon, UCLA, and Nebraska.
