This story line could be big in Baton Rouge, Bossier City, and Chapel Hill all season.

Brandon Harris, former Parkway Panther and LSU Tiger, is now officially a North Carolina Tar Heel according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Former LSU quarterback Brandon Harris is officially a North Carolina Tar Heel. U-N-C announced the former Parkway star has signed a letter of intent. Harris will be eligible to play this season, if he graduates from LSU and he’s expected to do so."

It seemed like the move obvious thing for all parties just a few months ago, but now with the question marks around Danny Etling's back, Lowell Narcisse's knees, and Myles Brennan's readiness, the choice for Brandon Harris to move on from Death Valley might not work out for at least one party.

If LSU struggles at the quarterback position this year, it will leave a lot of fans to question "what might have been" if Harris would have stayed. Which might be compounded if he has any struggles at UNC.

But what a great landing spot for the former 4-star recruit, a program that just produced the #2 overall pick in the NFL Draft at his same position? Tough to ask for a better situation.

The hope here is that everything works out for everyone involved; LSU has a great season, Brandon positions himself for an NFL career, and UNC wins some games.
