The AP Top 25 Poll was just released and #1 Alabama and #2 LSU are once again considered to be the two best teams in the country.

Is it possible that these two rivals could meet again in this year's BCS National Championship Game in Miami Gardens on Jan. 7, 2013?

Does this feel like we're living the 2011 season all over again?

Maybe it is a little too early to know at this point in time, but you have to agree, they are the two best teams in the country!

Let's take a look at how things weigh out. We have to know how the Nov. 3 matchup turns out before we can considering a rematch being possible.

This is sure to be another thriller on November 3, when this big battle takes place at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.

LSU quarterback, Zach Mettenberger, has stepped in to fill the shoes of both Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee and has done well. Les Miles hasn't asked him to be great yet. Maybe Mettenberger is just holding back on being great until the right time comes. What he can really do is unknown at the moment. When the Tigers travel to Florida on Oct. 6 is most likely when Les Miles will let the cat out of the bag.

The Alabama Crimson Tide holds strong too, even after replacing their top two wide receivers, a Heisman finalist at running back and six starters on defense.

LSU's secondary also had to replace a Heisman finalist from last season.

Alabama's field-goal kickers lost the game last November against LSU but this year they are 3-of-5 on field goals.

Both teams had stellar 2011 seasons and both have improved this year. I must admit, this is the game I'm looking forward to this year!
