22 New Orleans Saints Off the Roster

The New Orleans Saints cut 22 players from the roster, and kicker John Kasay and receiver Greg Camarillo were let go.

Dropping 42-year-old Kasay means Garrett Hartley will be in Week 1 of the regular season as place kicker.

The players cut from the team include safety Jerico Nelson, cornerback Nick Hixson, receiver Andy Tanner, tight end Michael Higgins, center Matt Tennant, quarterback Sean Canfield and linebacker Lawrence Wilson.

Defensive end Will Smith is on the suspended list for the first four games and linebacker Ramon Humber is suspended for the first three games.
