
2015 Battle on the Border Matchups Announced
The City of Shreveport and Landers Dodge have announced the match-ups for 2015's Battle on the Border. This year, High School Football Showcase looks to be bigger and better than ever.
The event will now span three days at Independence Stadium and feature seven games with teams from five different states.
The event is quickly growing into one of the nation's premier prep football showcases featuring teams that are not only state, but national powerhouses like Evangel, John Curtis and El Dorado, Arkansas.
City of Shreveport Announces 2015 Battle on the Border Matchups
SHREVEPORT- The City of Shreveport will again host some of the top high school football programs in the country during its 2015 Landers Dodge Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase. Games will be held on September 10-12 at Shreveport Independence Stadium (Shreveport, LA).
The fifth annual showcase continues to feature regional and national power house high school football programs from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The showcase will also feature its first 7 game, 3 day format, providing a full slate of weekend games for area and regional high school football fans.
“The City of Shreveport is proud to partner with Landers Dodge again to bring regional and area fans one of the finest football showcases in the country. This will be a weekend football fans will not forget,” said Patrick Wesley, Assistant Director of SPAR.
