Battle on the Border

From seeing the finest teams in high school football hit the gridiron, to seeing the 38th running of the Super Derby, there's something for everyone to do this weekend in Shreveport/Bossier City!

The 2016 Battle on the Border is set to feature some of the most exciting high school football games of the entire 2016 season.

The City of Shreveport and Landers Dodge have announced the match-ups for 2015's Battle on the Border. This year, High School Football Showcase looks to be bigger and better than ever.

The Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase will highlight some of the top high school football programs and players in the South and the country.

The 2014 Landers Dodge Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase is set for September 12-13 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport.

Shreveport has it's own nationally recognized high school football showcase and you should go!  Some of the best high school teams in the country will showcase their skills at Independence Stadium.

Ever since the inception of the Battle on the Border in 2010, the event which showcases top high school talents from Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi has only been held on a single afternoon at Independence Stadium. But for this years event, the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission have decided to change things up.

The Battle on the Border - High School Football Showcase is coming Saturday, September 8, 2012. This is the second high school football showcase to be played in Independence Stadium, the first time was in 2011.
