2014 NSU Football Schedule Released
Northwestern State University has released the 2014 football schedule. A couple big games for the Demons include a contest at Baylor, which will be NSU’s lone BCS opponent next season, and at Louisiana Tech. The Demons and the Bulldogs have not appeared on each others schedule since 1994.
Three football programs are new to the Southland Conference; Abilene Christian, Incarnate Word and Houston Baptist. The Demons SLC schedule will expand from seven games to eight games in 2014.
Northwestern’s 12 game schedule includes 7 road games. NSU was 6-6 last season under first year head coach Jay Thomas.
