After a weekend where the Pilots and Lions only played two games due to SAGU forfeiting a game due to a lack of players, the Pilots come out on top in both games 15-1; and 14-0.

Overall, the Pilots outscored SAGU 29-1 in yesterday's contests.

In Game 1, Pilots skipper Rocke Musgraves called on Cade Bowen (3-2) and the offense came to Bowen's aid early.

LSU-Shreveport scored 10 runs in the top of the 3rd inning to jump out to a 10-0 lead.

Pilots first baseman Kyle Pearson was 4-for-4 in Game 1 with two doubles and five RBI's.

This comes after Pearson struggled to get a hit in his last 15 at-bat's.

LSU-Shreveport's shortstop Manny Estrada brought home three runs. Estrada was 3-for-5 in Game 1.

Pilots third baseman Kym Barthel added three runs to the scoreboard as he was 2-for-3 .

Catcher Reed Lavallee was 2-for-4 and sent home a run.

Starting pitcher Cade Bowen retired his first 11 batters and had his perfect game broken up by SAGU's Billy Mee who hit a single to left field.

The Pilots won Game 1 15-1.

In Game 2 the Pilots hot bats carried over from the first game.

The Pilots posted four runs on the scoreboard in the 4th innings.

LSU-Shreveport jumped out a 8-0 lead following a eight run top of the 6th inning.

Starting pitcher Rory Young pitched six innings of effective baseball, while not allowing a run and striking out five batters.

Pilots first baseman Kyle Pearson was 3-for-4 with four RBI's, right fielder Ridge Gonsoulin was 3-for-4 with an RBI, left fielder K.J. Semien was 3-for-4 and brought home a run.

The Pilots would win Game 2 14-0.
