If you thought LSU would not lose more players after showing the "Honey Badger" Tyrann Mathieu the door, you thought wrong.

Who are these guys and how will it affect the Tigers on the field this season?

Sources according to the Tigers say that linebackers Tahj Jones and D.J. Welter, tight end Tyler Edwards, and offensive lineman Evan Washington have all been kicked off the gridiron, and sent to the classroom for the season.

Jones (who was not listed on LSU's roster on Saturday) was the only starter of the bunch. Jones rose to fame last season, having made one start and 27 tackles. He will be replaced by junior linebacker Luke Muncie.

Edwards, who was also given the boot before Saturday's game took part in 39 games over the past three seasons. He's only had one start and only a single pass reception for 10 yards.

For Welter, he played in seven games last season, making five tackles. Finally, Washington did not have a chance to suit up for the Tigers, due to an injury.
