According to the Daily News, after jumping from the plane for the second time, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said, "I heard a pop in my ankle". He heard the pop as he caught his foot on the ground while landing.

Cashman told the Daily News that he needs surgery on his right ankle after the second jump with the Golden Knights of the U.S. Army.

He has performed several stunts in the past to raise awareness for various causes, the latest one in support of the Wounded Warrior Project.

"It's an opportunity to do something that a lot of people don't do or will ever do, so that's awesome," Cashman said before the jump. "It's called living. But it's not like on my list of something I've always wanted to do. I'm

kind of excited for the opportunity to do it but at the same time, big-time nervous about doing it."
