If you went to bed early,  you missed probably the best World Series game maybe even in history.   The comeback in the 11th inning with David Freese for the St. Louis Cardinals belting an amazing (this only happens in the movies) home run for a victory 10-9 win over the Rangers.

It looked like the Rangers had the victory and would take the World Series in the 10th inning when Josh Hamilton  hit a two-run homer.  Rangers were nearly there,   not once,  but twice,   only three outs away from their first World Series title.    They were even twice just one strike away from taking the title.

We're looking at Game 7 at 7:05 tonight at Busch Stadium.

The Rangers had a 7-5 lead going into the ninth inning with Neftali Feliz on the mound,  and the Cardinals tied it up on a two-out,  two-run triple by Freese. That's when  Hamilton hit a two-run home run making Rangers fans salivate with the idea that it was almost our big win for the history books. But the Cardinals again tied it up in the bottom of the inning.

Lance Berkman brought home the tying run in the 10th with a two-out single. Both Freese and Berkman had two strikes on them when they delivered their game-tying hits.

Fans were ripping off Freese's jersey after he came running across home plate with the run that won.

It was an ending that left Rangers fans in shock.  The series is tied 3 games a piece with the game to decide the World Series champion tonight.

Wear your blue,  Rangers fans, and scream for Texas as loud as you did in Game 5 when you screwed up communication between Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa and his bullpen coaches.

"What can you say about this game but 'Wow!'" Rangers outfielder David Murphy said. "This game had everything. That was the best game I've ever been a part of. I don't know what to say or how to describe that game."

"It was an intense game," reliever Darren Oliver said. "I've never seen anything like that. I've never been a part of anything like that."

Few have.  Now, the Rangers will send Matt Harrison to the mound tonight. The Cardinals have not announced a starter for what will be the first Game 7 of the World Series since 2002, but it sounds like it might be Chris Carpenter.
