As if the loss to Wisconsin to open the season wasn't bad enough, it sounds like Leonard Fournette is more injured than we thought.

The way the team, and Coach Miles, have been avoiding talking about Fournette doesn't make it sound good either. The team is set to take on Jacksonville St this weekend, a team they can probably handle without Fournette, but you'd like to see #7 on the field. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU Coach Les Miles is not saying whether running back Leonard Fournette has been practicing this week after taking a hit to his lower leg towards the end of the Wisconsin game. Miles did say on Monday that Fournette suffered a contusion. The head coach also says back-up Danny Etling could get some snaps under a couple situations in Saturday night’s game."
