Wendy’s Restaurants in Louisiana Partnering with the American Red Cross for Flood Victims

We've seen it happen over and over again. When the going gets tough in Louisiana, we take care of our own. Hence, #LouisianaStrong!

Clearly, there's a huge need right now in south Louisiana in the wake of the historic flooding we experienced last month and it's going to take a lot of time, effort and money to recoup and rebuild. That's where Wendy's comes in!

This Thursday, September 8, 2016, participating Wendy's Restaurant throughout Louisiana are donating 15% of their sales from 4-8pm to help flood victims. The money will be distributed via the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Services for Louisiana Floods. 

They are calling this effort, 'Partners in Hope.' Richard Hopkins, Wendy's Division Vice President of New Orleans says, "We greatly appreciate the American Red Cross, Disaster Relief Services for the Louisiana Floods and all they are doing to help. Our Wendy’s franchisees and company employees are tied to this community and to the state of Louisiana, and it makes sense to do what we can when so many are in need. This money will go to the flood victims to help them repair their homes and their lives.”
