Here’s How To Get The Most Food For $5 At 7 Popular Fast Food Restaurants
We're gonna make that $5 bill go the distance.
Just about every fast food restaurant has a "box" or a 4 for $4 type of special that allows you to eat on a budget, but are you really getting the most bang for your buck? If you're thinking that the value meals already take care of that, you may not actually be getting the most "value" for your dollar.
Our friends at Thrillist have done the legwork and here is how you can get the most food for $5 (give or take a few cents) at seven of the most popular fast food joints.
Taco Bell
Taco Bell is already known for being a place where you can get a lot for your dollar, but if you want to get the most food for $5 just order five things off their "Dollar Cravings" menu. It's really that simple. According to Thrillist, the biggest thing on that menu is the "Beefy Fritos Burrito" and you may not even be able to finish five of them in one sitting.
McDonald's
You could easily take the Taco Bell approach and hit the dollar menu, but if you really wanna score a nice bit of food, you can take advantage of the all-day breakfast and get a Sausage McMuffin. Pair that with a 4-piece order of McNuggets, a snack-size McFlurry and a small coke for $5.50 of delicious variety.
Burger King
Burger King may be the fast food restaurant that gives you the most return on your small investment. To get the most food in the "BK Lounge" just order a BK bacon burger, a double cheeseburger, a chocolate sundae and a small fry—all for around $5.

Also, don't let anyone tell you that getting the most for your dollar makes you "cheap" or "greedy." Times are tough out there and the struggle is definitely real. Make sure you're getting the most for your money.
