Replacement refs awarded the Seattle Seahawks a last-second touchdown on a Hail Mary last night.

There was controversy as to wheather Green Bay Packers safety M.D. Jennings intercepted the ball.

Jon Gruden said on ESPN, "That was two of the worst calls at the end of a football game that I can remember."

Accotding to USA Today, Tate had pushed a Packers defender away with two hands before attempting to make the catch.

He didn't appear to ever have possession of the ball. Green Bay's M.D. Jennings said that he had it the whole time, Tate barely had an arm on it. How did a Packers interception become a Seahawks touchdown?

Here's USA Today said happened:

Jennings and Tate went up for the ball and Jennings grabbed it first coming down with it pinned it against his body. Tate had his hand on it, but Jennings had the pass.

The official with the best view of the pile looked down at Jennings seeing the ball pinned to his chest. Then the replacement ref appeared to wave his hands over his head to signal a stop of the clock and a touchback.

But the other dumb ref ran over, and while seeing his partner's arms about to move, he put his own arms up indicating a touchdown.

When looking at several camera views ESPN has of the pile, that ref, number 26, could not have seen or determined which player had the ball. His signal was just a reaction to the other official moving his hands.

Can you see what happened in these photos, for sure?
