UL-Monroe Will Need a New Athletic Director

It's a lesson that most Louisiana colleges know all too well. Outside of LSU, most of the schools in the state are viewed as "Stepping stone" stops for coaches and personnel, which isn't limited to active coaching duties either.

This week, University of Louisiana - Monroe was reminded that Athletic Directors also share this view of schools their size. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network;

"ULM President Nick Bruno announced today that athletics director Brian Wickstrom will not seek to renew his contract, which is set to expire on June 30th. Wickstorm has been with the Warhawks since July 2013. In a statement, Wickstorm said it’s his desire to make a long-term move to a bigger program."
