Jake's continued success in the ring took him to a 12-0 start for his career. He continued to beat up his opponents over the years, and in 2009 with a record of 21-4, he made his UFC debut against WEC Champion Carlos Condit.

Ellenberger knew he was on the big stage now. He went of the lose the match against Condit in a close split-decision, but that one loss did not stop him from trying to be the best.

He went on to defeat some of the high profile fighters in the sport. He pounced James Shields by TKO, John Howard by a third round TKO, Mike Pyle by a second round TKO at UFC 108.

But is Jake Ellenberger satisfied? That answer would be no. He wants to do more. Even he admits he has a long way to go to get to the top.

Jake talks about his huge bout on Saturday night, the fight versus Johnny Hendricks that was cancelled and the controversy behind it, how a fighter stays in shape between fights, his most memorable fight and the different aspects of mixed martial arts.
