Achievements: Played college football at Louisiana Tech where he was selected as a Consensus All-American in 1998. Won the 1998 Paul Warfield Trophy and Fred Biletnikoff Award as the best collegiate wide receiver in America. Holds the NCAA record for touchdown receptions in a single season with 27. Set an NCAA record in 1998 with 21 catches and 405 yards receiving in a single game (a record since broken.) Held the NCAA record for career touchdown receptions with 50. His 140 career receptions is the third most in Division I-A history, and his 1,996 receiving yards gained during his senior season remains the second most in Division I-A history. Selected 13th overall in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Played seven NFL seasons with four different teams.
