Tomorrow night in Alex Box Stadium at Skip Bertman Field, the much anticipated matchup between the LSU Tigers and ULL Ragin Cajuns will go down. Alex Lange will get the start. Tony Robichaux’s Cajuns’ will send their freshman phenom pitcher Gunner Leger, who won the Sun Belt Conference’s “Freshman of the Year” award. If you’re wondering who’s going to be LSU’s closer, Coach Paul Mainieri doesn’t have one. He told the Baton Rouge Advocate, “I don’t think we’re going to designate any one guy as the closer, and then all of a sudden Zac Person is pitching or Russell Reynolds is pitching or Jesse Stallings is pitching…I think it will benefit us because it isn’t just one guy.” LSU and ULL will open up Super Regional play tomorrow night at 7, pregame coverage tomorrow at 6:30 on 1130 The Tiger.

The Astros fall at home to the Orioles, 3-2. The ‘Stros travel north of the border to face the Blue Jays tonight at 6.

Shin-Soo-Choo hits a walk off single to put the Rangers past the White Sox 2-1 in 11 innnings. The Rangers are in Kansas City tonight, first pitch at 7.
